  • At The LAB22, we strongly believe that STEM should be accessible to all children, as such, every workshop is free of charge to school groups.

  • There are five topics to cover in a specific order for each age group. The frequency of attendance can be decided by the teachers. Attendance to ensure that each of the 5 topics are covered by the group can be done weekly, monthly or termly. Learn more about our curriculum here.

  • We are happy to receive groups of up to 16 children at a time. This will ensure that each child will have the necessary attention to learn and understand the concepts and complete their experiments.

  • Children’s safety is of utmost importance to us.

    The LAB22 has been designed with children’s safety and security in mind whilst the kits used for the hands-on experiments are always fully compliant with the latest health and safety legislation.

  • The workshops are aimed at two primary school groups: P4-P5 and P6-P7.

  • Yes! The five workshops are related to the five main Physics topics in the curriculum: forces, electricity, sound, materials and energy.

  • At The LAB22, we feel so passionately that as few obstacles should be put in the way of children attending our STEM workshops so we are happy to provide transportation from the school to the lab and back.

    Please ensure that the need for transport is mentioned in your enquiry.

  • Not at all. The whole point of The LAB22 is to introduce STEM concepts to all primary school age children regardless of their previous exposure to science.
