MEET THE VOLUNTEERS
PE Limited Petex
The LAB22 is very privileged to be fully funded by Petex which allows The LAB22 to keep all of our sessions free of charge to all school groups and children.
An added benefit has also been the incredibly helpful volunteers from within Petex who have provided their time in a variety of ways to support the day to day running of the lab or assist in the teaching of the school groups.
The Petex volunteers shown below is the list of volunteers who take time out of their working day to support The LAB22 in encouraging young children’s enthusiasm in STEM topics.

“Geology allows us to read the stories of the planet written on rocks. Among others, these tales tell of landscapes and seascapes inhabited by dinosaurs and giant marine reptiles. Mineral resources were formed over millions of years by geological processes and are hosted by rocks, raising the importance of them to our society. Understanding the past is key to the future.”
